Asylum Sponsored Team ADHD Takes Gold at NZPPL Event 1

Asylum is please to announce that sponsored team ADHD has taken gold at the first NZPPL event of the year on the Kapiti Coast this weekend.  ADHD, along with its feeder team ADHD Red is the unofficial “house” team of Asylum Paintball, whose roster consists of Asylum Paintball staff and regulars.  ADHD is sponsored by BSM, Asylum Paintball, Valken, Bob Long Technologies and Virtue Paintball.

ADHD Winners

Congratulations to team ADHD and their members: Alex, Cristian, Sam, Stat and Kane who brought home the cup last weekend.

Day 1

The by the end of day one they had picked up 11 wins out of 14 games, leaving ADHD in 1st place with Tempest Blast and Expendables close behind. By the end of the round robins, cup placings were:

  1. Tempest Blast
  2. ADHD
  3. Expendables
  4. KC Carnage

As per NZPPL rules, 1st position was to play 4th and 2nd was to play 3rd to decide on who would make it to the finals. Tempest Blast played KC Carnage and won 2-1 to go to finals while ADHD beat Expendables 2-1 to go to finals.  KC Carnage and Expendables played off for 3rd and 4th potition, ending up with it being 1-1 and a draw in the 3rd point.  In the end Expendables won the 1 on 1 to take away 3rd place. ADHD played Tempest Blast and won 2-1 in the finals to take home the trophy.

Lower ranked teams played off in a similar style for the plate, with South Auckland Paintball Club members High Gear taking it out.  Big congratulations to High Gear from from the Asylum and ADHD crews!
